A project is a construction job that you want to manage and track in Viewpoint Team™.

You can create and manage the following for a project in Team:
  • Contacts
  • Submittals
  • Requests for Information
  • Documents (manage only)

You can create a new project directly in Team or you can import a project from your ERP system (Vista, Spectrum, or Jobpac). When you create a project in Team, you assign it a unique project ID. You can use your own method for creating unique project IDs. When you enter the project ID, you are prompted with the expected format.

The following information from the project in your ERP system is included in the project in Team:
  • Company
  • Project ID
  • Description
  • Mailing address
  • Shipping address
  • Phone number (without extension)
  • Fax number (without extension)
  • Auto calculate submittal due dates / Enable default review days
  • Days for review fields

Once you create a project in Team, you can open that project in your ERP system (Vista, Spectrum, or Jobpac. From your ERP system, you can manage that project using all of the ERP system's robust functionality.
