Enter Time in Weekly View

Enter or modify labor hours on your timesheet using the Weekly view. The Weekly view shows timesheet entries for all days in a selected pay period.

You can add or modify timesheet entries up until the timesheet is approved. If your manager locks timesheets on a regular basis, you must make your changes before timesheets are locked.
  1. Select Time & Jobs > Timesheets.
  2. Select a pay period from the list on the left side of the page.
  3. Select the Employee Timesheets tab at the top of the grid.
  4. Select a timesheet in the grid.
  5. Select Weekly tab near the top of the page.
  6. In the Time section of the page, locate the applicable date for your time entry.
Tip: To copy entries from a recent pay period instead of creating a new entry, select Copy From Past in the Time section of the page. See Copy Entries From a Prior Pay Period for details.
  7. Enter information in the fields shown for the applicable date, including all required fields, such as Job, Phase, and hours worked. If you enter a Start Time and End Time, your regular hours entry (Reg) updates automatically.
  8. To add a comment to the timesheet entry, select the Comment button, add your comment, and select Confirm.
  9. Select Save in the upper right of the page.
  10. To add a new time entry line, select Add Time Entry in the upper right of the grid:
    1. Enter information on the new line.
    2. Select Save.
  11. To change the date on a new or existing line:
    1. Select the Date field on that line, and then select a different date from the dropdown list.
    2. Select Save.
  12. Use the Actions button on a saved line to add, copy, or delete that line, or add break time for that day:
    1. To remove a line from the timesheet, select Actions > Delete.
    2. To add another blank time entry for the same day (for example, if you have multiple roles on the same job or work at multiple job sites in the same day), select Actions > Add Line.
    3. To copy a saved line so that you do not have to re-enter the same information for a similar time entry, select Actions > Copy Below.
    4. To copy a saved line to the next day so that you do not have to re-enter the same information for a different day, select Actions > Copy To Next Day.
    5. To add break time for a day, select Actions > Add Break.
    6. When you are finished, select Save.
Complete My Timesheet.
